Tuberculous meningitis is the most common cause of chronic meningitis in developing countries. Common findings on imaging are abnormal meningeal enhancement in the basal cisterns (yellow arrows), hydrocephalus, and vascular complications. Ischemic cerebral infarction (blue arrows) is a common sequelae of tuberculous vasculitis. The middle cerebral artery (red arrow) and lenticulostriate perforators are among the most commonly affected.
